Grandma Jane made a Very Hungry Caterpillar quilt for each of her six grandchildren, and gave them to my kids when we were visiting last week. The girls have certainly snuggled with their quilts, but tend to use them most often for stuffed animal blankets/beds/nests, shawls and forts.
Nathaniel, however, likes to lay on his quilt while he begrudgingly does tummy time and look at the bright colored pictures. He is smiling in this first tummy time photo because he is about to roll over.
He is a very smiley, happy baby most of the time!
Megan thought he needed to be tucked in all warm and cozy:
And I got a great photo of all three kids smiling and looking at the camera! Yay! Anna asked if I bribed them to get this photo, and while I certainly have bribed them with candy to get them to smile for photos, I didn't have to for this one. I try to save candy bribery for big group shots when it's important that they behave well.
Thanks for the quilts, Grandma Jane!
I love that last pic! You have 3 precious kiddos. What a beautiful quilt background too. :)
