Elf on the Shelf

The girls and Ben caught an elf this year by building a trap with a block and a laundry basket and baiting it with a gingerbread cookie.  The girls named the elf Gingerbread, but she is called Ginger for short.  The first few days, she hung around the house just watching the girls, but a few nights ago, she decided to start causing some mischief.  Last night Ginger used wet erase marker to draw all over the girls' photograph.  Amelia was NOT happy.
