We had a nice gentle rain in the late afternoon one day last week, and I decided it was time Amelia and I went on a rain walk in our new neighborhood. We looked for big puddles to splash in, but apparently the drainage in our subdivision is too good. Bummer. But we did find some small puddles for jumping in, splashing in, and running through:
When the rain stopped, we waded through the tall grass to pick some wildflowers. Amelia particularly likes Queen Anne's Lace and clover, but we also picked some small black-eyed susan type flowers and some dandelions. She likes to put her bouquet on the bookcase in her room.
