Pumpkin Patch

After naptime today we went to Mayr Pumpkin Patch, which is only about 5 minutes away from our house.  Of course, it took us 20 minutes to get there since I had a, ummm, mistaken idea of exactly where it was.  Oops.  Megan and Amelia both liked to look at the animals, and thought it was hilarious that the goats tried to eat Megan's coat.  No photos of that, by the way, because it took both my hands to make sure that the goats didn't try to eat any little girl fingers!  Amelia even petted a horse!

We got to ride in a wagon pulled by a tractor, which was fun for everybody.

And then we searched the pumpkin patch for the most ginormous pumpkins we could find.  I always like to pick out the biggest pumpkin I can to carve, and these were just amazing!  Amelia wanted to pick out small Amelia and Megan sized pumpkins, so I told her we would pick out smaller pumpkins another day.  We couldn't pass up these enormous ones!

Daddy had to make several trips to get our four pumpkins on the wagon.  These will be fun to carve!
